Annual Meeting of the Parish
9 March @ 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
The Annual Meeting of the Parish is a meeting of the local electorate, required by law to be held once a
year between 1 March and 1 June. It provides an opportunity for parish residents to hear updates,
ask questions, and discuss community issues.
- Purpose: To allow parishioners to receive reports on council activities, finances, and
community matters, and to raise any topics they wish. - Who Can Attend: All local electors in the parish. The meeting is usually chaired by the
Parish Council Chair. - Content: The agenda often includes Chair/Clerk reports, financial updates, presentations
from local groups, public questions, and open discussion on parish concerns. - Status: It is not a Parish Council meeting, and decisions are advisory, not binding, but can
guide council priorities. Minutes are recorded for transparency
